Divorce and Relationship Coach – Karen Hill

During and following my difficult divorce, I read every self-help book I could find.  I believed if I read enough books, I’d find the answer to getting out of the deep, dark hole that had consumed me.

tree-in-handI tried to change myself, my life, my dreams, and my future on my own.  I had no one guiding me or helping me facilitate changes in my life.

I shared my problems and my goals with a very kind, well-meaning professional who told me my idea of a beautiful future was, most likely, way beyond my reach.

I persevered on my own and spent 5 years helping my children grow into adulthood, creating my own fulfilling career, pushing myself to accept the scary unknown, meeting and friending new people in a new environment, and finding my real self.

Was it worth it?  Absolutely!

Yet, as I was suffering from the weight of my challenges, I told myself if I ever survived this experience, I wanted to help women and men currently experiencing the confusing fallout from divorce.  My passion to help others move into their ‘new, after divorce life’ never died and continued to grow.

Before I could bring my passion to fruition, I had to experience my own journey.  My path has taken me to school classrooms as a teacher, to my family’s business, and to the corporate world.  I am a wife, mother of two daughters and a grandmother of five. The professional and personal skills I developed along the way became the foundation for the work I do now.

In 2009 I graduated from the Life Coach Institute and became certified as a Life Coach.  I began my coaching career in 2010 and continue to love this work.

My goal is to assist you to grow and change, to find options for the challenges ou face, and to keep you focused as you move into your new life.
